Night of Ideas

We believe that artistic dialogue and exchange of ideas have no boundaries. This is why the French American Cultural Society supports and promotes the Night of Ideas, a free annual event welcoming some of the greatest minds in the world to think about the world of tomorrow.

The first edition took place on February 2, 2019 at the San Francisco Main Library: a 7-hour marathon of debates, artistic performances, and workshops gathering more than 6,000 participants, 120 speakers and 70 artists. Entrepreneurs, dancers, scholars, photographers, festival organizers, met to imagine the future of our cities and our world. We strongly believe that cross-pollination is THE key to bridging cultures and creating new ideas and art forms.
