The French American Cultural Society, in partnership with PARISOMA, offers the possibility for artists from the Bay Area to exhibit their art at the San Francisco coworking space PARISOMA, for a period of four months! Artists are invited to submit their proposal by email, before March 19th, 2017, 6:00pm (PST time) at firstname.lastname@example.org A selection committee will examine all applications and announce the selected artist by March 31st, 2017. The selected artist shall be available for the exhibition installation between April 17th and April 20th, 2017 at PARISOMA in San Francisco. The opening reception is scheduled on Thursday April 20th, 2017. The selected artist’s work will have great visibility for the duration of the exhibition, considering the large number of events organized at PARISOMA. Proposals should include the following: - Artist statement and bio: maximum one page - A selection of 10 to 15 artworks to be exhibited: paintings, drawings, photographs - For each artwork: pictures and dimensions The artist will bear all costs linked to the exhibition (framing, installation, insurance and other related expenses). Part of proceeds from sales will benefit the French American Cultural Society & PARISOMA. Daylighted can provide screens for the artists to display additional works and facilitate payment. Images technical requirements can be communicated upon request. French American Cultural Society’s mission is to promote, develop and support French American cultural and educational projects.
